The springloaded canopy, in the same fabric, folds away neatly when not in use, secured by a tie, and is detachable.

Maintenance-free and impervious to the elements, the materials is lightweight, UV stable, frost resistant, durable and rust free, so the daybed can be left outside all year round and will last for years and years. Built on a sturdy welded tubular aluminium framework, and mounted on a powder-coated aluminium frame.
